Metalix

As far as I know Metalix only appeared in one Sonic game and that was Sonic CD for the Mega CD, never had that addon for my Megadrive, was too expensive and only one game I wanted on it (yes that one game was Sonic CD, how did you know?!).
I've got the PC version of it now, have had it for about 6 years and have played it for about 10 seconds, died and though I was getting too old to play these games, not that I've out grown them, more of too slow in my older age.

So if Metalix has appeared in another Sonic game please correct me.
